Andréa Courtney Olsen, 41, a resident of the Tigard community, died Saturday morning, November 24, 2018 at the Pacific Health and Rehab center in Tigard. Private Cremation Rites were held at the Hoyt Crematory in Forest Grove. ANDRÉA COURTNEY OLSEN was born March 28, 1977 in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Gary Norbraten and Carol Petricka.

She was raised and received her education in the Portland community, having been a graduate of the Franklin High School Class of 1995. She was united in marriage to Erik Olsen on July 21, 2001, in Portland, Oregon. Following their marriage they made their home in Beaverton and Portland, Oregon.

They later divorced. Andréa worked as a customer service representative in the retail industry for several years. Among her special interests, she enjoyed cooking and hosting friends and gatherings at her home, and many other social activities.

Andréa was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Norbraten, who passed away in 2015. Survivors include her father, Gary Norbraten and stepmother, Teresa Norbraten, of the family home in Portland, Oregon; and her sister, Miranda Pappas, brother-in-law Stathi Pappas, and her nephews Ioannis and Yiorgios Pappas in Alamosa, Colorado. The family suggests that remembrances may be contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
