Angela J. Ciolino, 55, of Gloucester passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida. She was born in Gloucester on November 23, 1963, daughter of Giacoma “Jenny” Ciolino and the late Antonio Ciolino. Angela was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1982.

She was employed as a bookkeeper for Alphas Company in Chelsea for many years having to leave due to her illness. She was a member of the Gloucester Elk, Lodge #892. She very much enjoyed travelling to Aruba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Mexico.

She just loved being in the sunshine. In her spare time you could find her collecting seashell on the beach and making crafty creations. She always had to have a lot of plants in her home which gave it a tropical feel.

Angela just adored spending time with her niece, Jacquelyn and nephews, Nicholas and Nathan. She was the life of the party with that bigger than life smile that you couldn’t help but see. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Giacoma “Jenny” Ciolino; sister, Dina Rose; brother, Nicholas Ciolino and his wife Kristine; niece, Jacquelyn Rose; nephews, Nicholas Ciolino and his wife Jennifer and Nathan Ciolino; her aunts and uncles, Salvatore and Joan Ciolino, Rosa Ciolino, Agatha Moceri, Maria Lo Grasso, Grace Ingrasia and Mary Ciolino; her companion, Jim Wendall; her longtime friend, Pamela Atkins; many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Antonio Ciolino; aunt, Antonia Indelicato; uncle, Carlo Ciolino; grandparents, Antonette and Giralomo Ciolino, Angela and Nicolo Ciolino. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in St. Ann’s Church, Holy Family Parish at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.

A visitation will be held prior to the Mass in St. Ann’s Church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
