Obituary for Anita Fay Brown Anita F. Brown, 62 of Johnson City, passed away on Tuesday, October 02, 2018 at Agape Nursing Home. A native of Johnson City she is the daughter of the late Smith and Thelma Dugger. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by: daughter, Carol Ann Chapell; and siblings, Connie Feathers, Sadie Vines, Ernest Church, Junior Dugger, and Richard Dugger.

Anita loved her son dearly. She enjoyed her flowers, neighbors, being a part of Memorial Park Community Center, doing puzzles and visiting flea markets. She also loved to cook and collecting antiques.

Those left to cherish Anita’s memory include: son, Tommy Chapell; siblings, Helen Manis, Amanda Lewis, James Dugger, and Frank Dugger; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Mary Miller and Sharon Dugger; and special people in her life, Cathy Whitehead, Ashley Baughman, Masen Baughman, Christopher Baughman, Mike Brown, and David Reed. The family will gather to receive friends at Tetrick Funeral Services on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM until a celebration of Anita’s life beginning at 12:00 PM. A graveside will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens.
