Ann Barry, 89, of Macomb, formerly of Good Hope passed away at 3:24 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. She was born at Marietta Phelps Hospital in Macomb on January 8, 1930 to Frederick George and Lanah Pearl Wilson Robinson. She married Floyd Keith Barry in 1964.

He passed away in 2000. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Robinson. She is survived by one daughter, Michelle (Barry) Billeter of Blandinsville and Sonia (Tiger) Hamilton of Blandinsville whom she considered a daughter.

Ann attended grade school in Vermont Township. She attended Ipava High School her freshman year and attended her last three years at Astoria High School graduating in 1947. She went to Western Illinois University for one year.

She worked for Lock’s Ford Motor Company in Canton and Astoria. In 1950 she moved to Macomb and worked for Howe Motor Sales Lincoln-Mercury until Michelle was born. She stayed home for several years before going back to work for Gentry-Bryant Ford, Western Ford and then Mac Ford-Lincoln-Mercury before retiring in 1999.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2019 at Good Hope Cemetery in Good Hope with Reverend Gordon Blankenship officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Lamoine Saddle Club or McDonough County Humane Society new animal shelter project.

Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
