June Marie Oster, age 87, a resident of the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 1:53 AM at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. She was born on June 18, 1931 in Rushville Illinois the daughter of Francis and Marie Gaddis Hiles. She married William H. Oster on November 22, 1950 in Industry , Ill.

He preceded her in death on December 31, 1989. She is survived by two daughters Dixie Bodenhamer of Macomb, Janice (Larry)Monninger of Macomb, 1 son Kent (Jackie) Oster of Macomb, seven grandchildren Whitney(Matt) Mohr, Amy Oster, Ryan Monninger, Susan (Ron) Hall, Josh (Angela) Monninger, Digger(Sarah) Oster, and Patrick (Chloe) Bodenhamer, 15 great grandchildren Joshua Mutchler, Joe Mohr, Will Mohr, Khloe Monninger, Andy Mohr, Lauren Mohr, Sam Mohr, Noah Monninger, Gaven Oster, Levi Oster, Lily Oster, David Oster, Delilah Oster, Burns Bodenhamer, Marlo Bodenhamer, and one great-granddaughter on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son in law Carroll Bodenhamer, and one great-grandson Jonathan Mohr.

June had worked as a banker at the State Bank of Industry for 34 years before retirement. She was a member of the Industry United Methodist Church and the Macomb Womans Club. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11 AM. At the Industry United Methodist Church. Pastor Bennett Woods will officiate.

Burial will be at the Industry Cemetery. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 5 PM until 7 PM at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Memorials may be made to the Industry United Methodist Church.
