Snowden 90, passed away on March 3, 2019 at Hollybrook Reflections Memory Care Center in Pekin IL. Born November 15, 1928 in Industry to Luther and Lillian Funk Boulware Fowler, she married Harry A. Snowden on July 16, 1949 in Macomb, IL. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2002.

Surviving are her daughters Debra (Harold) Steele of Glasford and Diane (Scott) Bagley of Adair, four grandchildren Cassandra (Casey) Jaynes of Meadville, MO, Matthew Steele of Glasford, Justin (Kaitlyn) Bagley and Ethan Bagley of Adair and two great grandchildren, Ryker and Ridger Jaynes. She was preceded in death by one brother, Floyd (Chick) Fowler. Marilyn lived most of her life in Industry.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing cards and visiting with her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her cat named Sammy. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Private graveside services will be held at Industry Cemetery. The family would like to thank Pekin Hollybrook Reflections Memory Care and Transitions Hospice for the wonderful care Marilyn received during her last few months of life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions Hospice Peoria or Pekin Hollybrook Reflections Memory Care.
