(Shandor) Lazzara, 88, of Easton passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 in Gracedale. Born December 17, 1930 in Phillipsburg she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Pewanick) Shandor. She was a 1949 graduate of Phillipsburg High School.

She was employed as a Nurse’s Aide with Easton Nursing Center before her retirement in 2002. Prior to that she was employed with Transogram. She enjoyed dancing, Elvis movies, lunch with her high school friends called the “49ers”, playing cards and bingo, spending time with her family and traveling around with her sisters.

Her grandchildren will remember her making the best scrambled eggs ever. She had a real love of her Catholic faith and Slovak culture. She will also be remembered for her love of her daughters and grandchildren.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church in Easton. Annabelle is survived by her children Samuella Donnelly (John), Katherine Lazzara (Kim Albert) and Marina Lazzara and partner Jason Lee; five grandchildren Joshua Belkoff and fiancee Sarah Zimmerman, Emily Belkoff, Sarah Zuckerman (Peter), John Donnelly, IV (Kayla) and Maizie Lazzara Lee; a brother John Shandor; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by sisters Agnes Wedo and Grace Sartini.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 8, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in Our lady of Mercy Church, 132 S. 5th Street, Easton, PA. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Ss.

Philip and James Cemetery in Greenwich Township. The family requests memorials to the church or Patient Activities Fund, 2 Gracedale Avenue, Nazareth, PA 18064.
