Obituary for Annie Jones Modisette Annie Jones Modisette Shongaloo, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Jones Modisette, age 94, will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Dr. Jeremy Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Old Shongaloo Cemetery, Shongaloo, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Bailey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Modisette was born on March 9, 1924 to John James Smith “Jim” and Lucy Juanita Sanders Jones in Springhill, LA and passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 in Springhill, LA. She retired from Edmont Wilson Glove Factory in Haynesville and then worked at Indian Run Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed sewing, working puzzles and playing dominoes.

She is survived by three sons, Gary Modisette of Shongaloo, LA, Tony Modisette and wife, Becky of Baytown, TX, Danny Modisette and wife, Eileen of Jonesboro, LA; two daughters, Cheryl Hudec of Sarepta, LA, and Vicki Wynne of Shongaloo, LA; eighteen grandchildren, Petra Modisette, David Bailey, Don Modisette, Jason Modisette, Emili Modisette, April Shaw, Tina Dark, Trish Modisette, Austin Modisette, Michelle Lewing, Dana Modisette, Davin Modisette, Angel Lauderdale, Ashley Rhea, Eric Hudec, Sarah McEachern, Rayna Wynne, and Sash Wynne; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Modisette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter Reo Modisette, son, Randy Joe Modisette, one grandson, and eleven siblings. Pallbearers will be Jason Modisette, Don Modisette, Austin Modisette, Eric Hudec, Sash Wynne, and Davin Modisette.
