Obituary for Charles Maude Burley Charles Maude Burley Homer, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Maude Burley, age 99, will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Haynesville, LA, with Rev. Andy Addison officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Natchez, MS on Friday, April 13th at 11:00 am under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2018, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Burley was born on December 23, 1918 to Charles Daniel Faust and Hattie M. Ikerd Faust in Roxie, MS and was a former resident of Dubach, LA. She was a resident of the Presbyterian Village Nursing Home in Homer, LA and passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 in Homer, LA.

Mrs. Burley loved to spend time with her family, and also enjoyed crafting, painting, sewing, working with ceramics, going fishing and traveling. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara “Tootsie” R. Nunez and husband, Ray of San Antonio, TX; sons, Robert E. “Buddy” Burley and wife, Grace of Baton Rouge, LA, and William “Dicky” M. Burley, Jr. of Dubach, LA; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; sister, Betty Lipsey and husband, J. D. of Monterey, LA. Mrs. Burley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 60 years, William Morris Burley Sr.; son, Joe D. Burley; daughter in-law, Myrna Guidry-Burley; four brothers, and six sisters.
