Obituary for Elsie V. Stiles Elsie V. Stiles Bossier City, LA Graveside services for Mrs. Elsie V. Stiles, age 85, will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the Plain Dealing Cemetery, Plain Dealing, LA. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stiles was born on February 3, 1933 to Denis and Louise Arthur Vaughn in Monticello, IL and passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 in Bossier City. Her and her husband ran the Oakland Plantation Country Club in Plain Dealing for many years. She enjoyed fishing, playing golf and working crossword puzzles.

She lived a great life with four children that doted over her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by three daughters, Suzanne Prince and husband, Mike of Bossier City, Brenda Rich and husband, Al of Benton, Pam Smith and husband, Gary of Haughton; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Judy Kelly and husband, B.B. of Shreveport, Nettie A. Stiles of Plain Dealing; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Stiles was preceded in death by parents; husband, Curtis Stiles; son, Donald Stiles; sister, Bernice Huls; brothers, Charles Vaughn and Russell Vaughn. Pallbearers will be Britt Smith, Blake Smith, Brian Porter, Matthew Stiles, Caleb Guidry and Eric Lee. Honorary pallbearer will be Brad Porter.
