Obituary for Marion Douglas Jones Marion Douglas Jones Haynesville, LA Graveside services for Mr. Marion Douglas Jones, age 85, will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the Old Town Cemetery, Haynesville, LA, with Bro. Howard Cowen officiating. Interment will follow the service under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 15, 2018, 5:00-7:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home. Mr. Jones was born on July 23, 1932 to George W. and Ruby Goodwin Jones in Haynesville, LA and passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Haynesville, LA. He was an oilfield supervisor, and was retired from QV Services.

He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. Mr. Jones enjoyed quail hunting, and raising cattle, and bird dogs. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Pam McFarland and husband, Eddie of Bossier City, LA; two sons, Scott Jones and wife, Angie of Homer, LA, Greg Jones and wife, Pam of Grand Saline, TX; five grandchildren, Nicholas McFarland, Kati McFarland, Bridget Morales and husband, Matt, Tiffany Hopwood and husband, Jacob, Lindsay Mordecai and husband, Chris; two great-grandsons, Daniel Mordecai, Matthew Mordecai; three great-granddaughters; Hannah Morales, Claire Mordecai, and Ellie Mordecai Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jo Jones, his parents, and two sisters; Margie Swartz, and Francille Wainright. Honorary Pallbearers will be Doyle Odom, Mike Heckel, John Tomlinson, Roger Barnette, Kelly Goodwin, Hunter Heckel, Jerry Bailey, and Barry Owens.
