Obituary for Jerry Wayne Rasberry Jerry Wayne Rasberry Shongaloo, LA Funeral service for Mr. Jerry Wayne Rasberry, age 64, of Shongaloo will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 11, 2018, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Bro. Andy Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in Western Cemetery, Emerson, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 11, 2018, from 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Rasberry was born on January 20, 1954 to Aubryn Obed and Mary Frances Burns Rasberry in Springhill, LA and passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at his home in Shongaloo. He was a carpenter most of his life and was an avid hunter who loved being outside working in his yard and garden.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Frances Rasberry of Emerson; two brothers, Tommy G. Rasberry and wife, Barbara of Shongaloo, Larry Rasberry and wife, Debbie of Shongaloo; sister, Angelia Rowe and husband, Ricky of Emerson; three daughters, Tonya Perdue and husband, Adam of Houston, TX; Rebecca Lynn Montgomery and husband, Billie of Shongaloo, Connie Sneed of Magnolia; son, Charles “Bubba” Sneed of Shongaloo; son-in-law, Charles W. Cato of Shongaloo; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Rasberry of Shongaloo, Nell Pharr of Magnolia; mother-in-law, Marie Cox of Magnolia; seven grandchildren, Tanner Thomas, Hanna Cato, Jeremy Sampson and wife, Deztiny, Dusty Montgomery, Nicole Baxter and husband, Clay, Hunter Sneed, Carson Sneed; four great-grandchildren, Kaylee Sampson, Ali Kirkpatrick, Jace Sampson, Lexi Sampson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Rasberry was preceded in death by his wife, Earnestine Cox Rasberry; father, Aubryn Obed Rasberry; brothers, Joe Rasberry, Billy Rasberry, Sr., Kris Rasberry; and daughter, Regina Kay Cato. Pallbearers will be Tommy G. Rasberry, Charles W. Cato, Tanner Thomas, Hunter Sneed, Colton McDaniel, Jason W. Rasberry, Billy Rasberry Jr., Waylon Rasberry, and Jason Lee.
