Obituary for Linda Nell Hammonds Linda Nell Hammonds Homer, LA / Cullen, LA Funeral services for Linda Nell Crowder Hammonds, age 70, will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Cornerstone River of Life Assembly of God Church in Cullen, LA, with Rev. David Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Branch Cemetery, Taylor, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 20, 2018, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA. Mrs. Hammonds was born on April 13, 1948 to Charles William “C.W.”and Dorothy Yates Crowder in Springhill, LA and passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Homer, LA. She worked as a bookkeeper and enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, and loved spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Allen Hammonds of Homer, LA; daughter, Lindsay Thompson and husband, Cory of Summerfield, LA; son, Eyvonne “Bo” Hammonds of Fruithurst, AL; grandson, Treyton Thompson; two brothers, Lonnie Dee Crowder and wife, Teresa of Lamar, AR, Johnny Crowder of WA; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hammonds was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Stanley Crowder, Joseph Crowder; and sister, Brenda Warren. Pallbearers will be Richard Hadley, Elijah Gorman, Brent Smith, Russell Stephens, George Shelley, and Harvey Price.
