Evans Crook in Laguna Beach, CA and passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 in Springhill, LA. He was a driller in the oil and gas industry and retired after 30 years of service. He loved music, working on cars, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years; Melissa Stinson Crook, of Springhill, LA; two daughters, Misty Troquille and husband Todd of Minden, LA, Brandi DeHart and husband Brandon of Cotton Valley, LA; two granddaughters, Kaylin Troquille, Wylie Kate DeHart; three grandsons, Seth DeHart, Levi DeHart, Bladden Troquille; brother, Troy Crook and wife Bobbie of Springhill, LA; four nephews, Trey Davis and wife Lisa of Leton, LA, Troy Crook of Mansfield, TX, Trent Crook of Springhill, LA, Travis Crook of Springhill, LA; two nieces, Chasady Boniol and husband Orrie of Carthage, TX, Erica Powell and husband Jacob of Waldo, AR; and sister, Laura Fleck of Hubert, NC; . Mr. Crook was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sherrie “Shonda” Davis. Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
