Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Henson was born on November 26, 1939 to Frank and Ruth Mildred Dees Kendrick in Taylor, AR.

She graduated from Springhill High School with the class of 1957, and worked as a cashier for Dixie Dandy for over 20 years. She enjoyed camping, sewing, sending time with friends and family, and loved her dachsunds. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harry Henson of Cotton Valley, LA; daughter, Helen Denise Taylor and husband David of West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Henson was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Rebecca Ann Kendrick, and Sandra Kendrick.
