Obituary for Louie “Skot” Holmes Louie “Skot” Holmes age 39 of El Dorado, passed away early Friday, June 15, 2018 near Texarkana, AR, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Scott was born September 3, 1978 in El Dorado to Peggy Sue Strickland Holmes and Randy L. Holmes. Scott was a 1997 graduate of Parkers Chapel High School and went on to attend SAU in Magnolia following high school.

Although he was a skilled carpenter by trade, most people knew him as a talented artist and competitive skateboarder. Scott had a big heart, especially for his family and his cat companions, which he called his “girls”. He will forever remain in our hearts as we remember how special he really was.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Ophelia Strickland; his grandfather, Louie L. Holmes; one Uncle, Ricky Holmes and one Aunt, Laura Holmes. Survivors include; his mother, Peggy Holmes; his father, Randy Holmes; his grandmother, Marie Holmes; one sister, Suzanne Bryant; Aunt and Uncle, Beth and James Perry, along with several nieces and cousins, whom will all miss him dearly. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm with Bro.
