Obituary for Howard Lee Bennett Howard Lee Bennett Haynesville, LA Graveside services for Mr. Howard Lee Bennett, age 78, will be held at 4:00 pm, Monday, June 18, 2018, at the Hill Crest Memorial Park, Haughton, LA with Rev. Jeff Tinsley officiating. Interment will follow the service under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville, LA.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home in Haynesville. Mr. Bennett was born on April 15, 1940 to Homer L. and Merble Adkins Bennett in Hope, AR and passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 in Homer, LA. He was an Air Force veteran and was retired from Marathon Oil Co

He enjoyed hunting, playing golf, and always kept up with sports. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Ann Powell Bennett; three daughters, Donna Brooks and husband, Michael of Forney, TX; Lee Ann Triplet and husband, Jeff of Emerson, AR; Margaret S. (SuSu) Disotell and husband, Sean of Ruston, LA; son, Howard “Buddy” L. Bennett of Haynesville, LA; brother, Randall Bennett of Haynesville, LA; four grandsons, Jason Garrett and wife, Kathryn of Moore, OK; Jeffery Triplet and wife, Deanna of Nashville, AR; Tanner Disotell of Ruston, LA; Clayton Bennett of Haynesville, LA; two granddaughters, Taylor Disotell of Ruston, LA, and Holley Hatcher and husband, Booth of Converse, LA. Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by his parents.
