Obituary for Wallace Ray Archer Wallace Ray Archer, 79 of El Dorado, AR. passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at his home. He was born February 4, 1939 in Dierks, AR.

to the union of Winzel Wallace Archer and Audie Jones Archer. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Ricky Archer, a daughter, Rochelle Hammond, and a brother, Kenneth Archer. He attended East Main Baptist Church and Bible Baptist Church in El Dorado, was a 32 degree mason, and worked as a cattle farmer and heavy equipment operator in his younger years.

He was a former employee of Ellsworth Trucking and James Davidson Trucking. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Ann Pratt Archer, one daughter, Vicki Reeder and husband Scott, four grandchildren, Brandy Scott, Blakely Reeder, Maygen Knight and Randall Hammond, eleven great grandchildren, three brothers, James Archer, Ronnie Archer and Richard Archer, a sister, Lee Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Bailey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Bible Baptist Church in El Dorado, with Rev. J.D. Weido and Rev. Bob Weido officiating.

Interment will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado, AR. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Life Touch Hospice or the Hillsboro Cemetery Association.
