Obituary for Phillip Burlon Pickard Phillip Burlon Pickard Springhill, LA Funeral services for Mr. Phillip Burlon Pickard, age 71, will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, with Rev. Ronald Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Pilgrim’s Rest cemetery in Shongaloo, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 10:00 am until service time at Bailey Funeral Home. Mr. Pickard was born on February 11, 1947 to Otis B. and Ernestine Smith Pickard in Springhill, LA and passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. He was a custodian and was retired from the Webster Parish School Board after 20 years of service.

He enjoyed gardening and working on cars. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Claudia Ruth Pickard of Sarepta, LA; son, Claude Pickard and wife, Donna of Springhill, LA; daughter, Tammy Thomas and husband, Bert of Haynesville, LA; grandson, Austin Pickard of Springhill, LA; three sisters, Renee Welch and husband, David of Springhill, LA, Darlene Davis and husband, Drew of Keithville, LA, Pamela Croft and husband, Charles of Bossier City, LA; brother, Mike Pickard and wife, Jan of Columbus, MS; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Pickard was preceded in death by his parents.
