Obituary for Bobby Roland Hardin Bobby Roland Hardin Shreveport, LA Funeral service for Mr. Bobby Roland Hardin, age 86, will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, May 24, 2018, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Haynesville, LA, with Rev. Ronnie Joe Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Haynesville under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Hardin was born on August 28, 1931 to Hugh Columbus and Jewell Green Hardin in Haynesville, LA and passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Shreveport. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Shreveport and was a retired band director having taught for some 30 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and performing in jazz combos around the Ark-La-Tex. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Fay Dell Morris Hardin of Shreveport, LA; three sons, Daniel R. Hardin, Donald L. Hardin and wife, Kelli, Charles Hubbard; two daughters, Donna Kelly, Diana Hubbard; one granddaughter, Piper Dell Hardin; two brothers, Bill Hardin of Haynesville, David Hardin of Bossier City; sister, Louise Dow; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Hardin was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Pete Hardin, Hugh Columbus Hardin, Jr.; and sisters, Pauline Ward, Lucy Ruth Tynes, and Ila M. Greiner.

Pallbearers will be Daniel R. Hardin, Donald L. Hardin, Charles Hubbard, Jack D. Hardin, Wayne Marsh, and Chris Whorton.
