Obituary for Lula Elizabeth “Beth” Taylor Beshea Lula Elizabeth “Beth” Taylor Beshea Springhill, LA Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Lula Elizabeth “Beth” Taylor Beshea, age 83, will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Springhill Cemetery with Bro. Danny Sikes officiating. Services are under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Saturday at Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Beshea was born on October 31, 1934 to Ruben Oliver and Myrtie Cornelia Taylor in Bussey, AR and passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 in Taylor, AR. She was a lifelong resident of this area and a faithful member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.

She was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mother was a Family Mother. She loved going on trips with her girls and grandkids; also taking Papa to watch their grandkids playing ball almost daily, if they could.

And, playing cards with their personal friends. Also, most of all, she loved her Lord. Mother told me last week she was ready to go to be with my Lord and see Papa, and mother and daddy (her parents).

Mother loved her church, Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where she has served as the secretary-treasurer, Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School director and piano player for 61 years. Mother was faithful to her church and Lord. She is survived by three daughters, Jan May and husband, Billy of Stamps, AR, Judith Stiles McGuffey of Plain Dealing, LA, JoEllen Gish and husband, Todd of Springhill, LA; three sons, Cleave Beshea, Jr. of Springhill, LA, Calvin Roy Beshea of Sarepta, LA, Christopher Alan Beshea of Springhill, LA; eleven grandchildren, Chastity, Joni, Cheri, Kaleb, Joshua, Clay, Melissa, Melanie, Amanda, Ruben and Anna Claire; eighteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Beshea was preceded in death by her husband, Cleave Charles Beshea on July 29, 2017 and her parents. Pallbearers will be Kaleb Gish, Joshua Gish, Jeff Waller, Ruben Beshea, Gary Millican and Wes Pierce. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Culbertson, Kenneth O’Glee, Jerry Wesson, John Harris, Tommy Green, Ronnie Green, Tommy Lyons and Bro.
