Annie Ruth Robinson, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Corsicana. She was born April 25, 1930 in Corsicana to Robert Steven and Annie Margaret Henderson Flynn. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Fairfield.

She loved her church and was very active. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and going out to eat. She loved to ride around the countryside looking at the scenery.

She also loved hunting, she and Brenda would sit in the deer stand and talk and would see more deer than anyone else. Her most enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Junior Robinson in 1991 and her brothers and sisters.

She leaved behind to cherish her memory, son Randy K. Robinson and wife Brenda; daughter Judi Perry and husband Richard. Grandchildren, Daniel Robinson and wife Stephanie, Laurie Spearman, Dana Perry, Susan McHenry and husband Curtis. Eleven great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, February 1, 2019 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield. Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home chapel with Don Suits officiating. Burial will follow at Eureka Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Baker, Joe Hancock, Roy Latham, Don Montgomery, Jeff Spearman Jr., Darian Spearman, Owen Emmett, Bryan Harwell. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Annie Ruth Robinson please visit our Sympathy Store.
