Charles Flanary January 24, 1934 – January 28, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Charles Flanary, age 85 of Alvin, Texas passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 in Beaumont, Texas. Charles was born on January 24, 1934 in Weinert, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for over 40 years. He proudly served his country in the Korean and Viet Nam War and would later retire from the United States Army.

Charles was a member and Deacon in the First Assembly of God Church in Alvin. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Creed and Isabel Flanary, brother, Creed Flanary, grandchildren, Stephanie Flanary, Gennie Flanary. Charles is survived by his wife, Sue Flanary, daughter, Donna Thompson and husband Howard, son, Steve Flanary and wife Livia, brothers, John Flanary and wife Betty, Gene Flanary and wife Cinda, 8 grandchildren, Cody, Parker, Cynthia, Crystal, Justin, Jeremy, Jacob, Denise, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at First Assembly of God in Alvin. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at First Assembly of God Church in Alvin, Texas. Serving as Pallbearers, Parker Fillip, Cody Fillip, Roddie McEntire, Jack McEntire, Pat Renolds and Justin Ramirez.
