Mildred Smith, 87 of Corsicana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Twilight Nursing Home in Corsicana with family members by her side. She was born January 4, 1932 in Whitney, Texas. She was a devoted house wife and a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church.

She was raised in Frost, Texas with her parents and 4 sisters. She was a loving mother who was always there for her children. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Smith; parents, Jake and Ola Bell Cochran and sister Dorothy Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter Diane McGraw and husband Ricky of Blooming Grove, son Joey Smith and wife Cindy and son Dalton Wayne Morris both of Corsicana; sisters Barbara Prince and husband Jimmy of Corsicana, Janet Hert and husband Jerry of Burleson, Kitty Knowles and husband Charlie of Belton; grandsons, Danny McGraw and wife Jessica of Liberty Hill, Andrew McGraw of Corsicana and Landon McGraw of Crandall; great grandsons, Colt McGraw, Lane McGraw and Jaxon McGraw and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 9:00am – 10:30am on Saturday, March 16th at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Corsicana followed by the funeral service at 10:30am with Brother James Williams officiating. Interment will be held at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Danny McGraw, Andrew McGraw, Landon McGraw and nephews Steven McConathy, Ronald Laymance and Darrell O’Sullivan. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Twilight Nursing Home and Hand-in-Hand Hospice for all of their loving care.
