Bernadine was born on August 28, 1927 in Marietta, Ohio. Bernadine is preceded in death by her husband, Noah Collins; parents, Merle Oliver and Dorothy Hickman; son, Bruce Collins; sisters, Myrtle Oberlin and Dorothy Yost.

Bernadine is survived by her daughter, Gloria Lane; sons, Dale Collins, Davy Collins and wife Pat, James Robert Collins and wife Lucille; sister, Donna Jean Mozzchi; brother, James Hickman; 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin. Funeral services will be held at a later date at Cassady Turkle Christian Funeral Home, Alliance, Ohio.
