Obituary for Areti Brown Grovetown, Ga. – Mrs. Areti Dalber Brown, 70, of Grovetown, GA entered into rest on July 18, 2018 at her residence. She was a beloved wife, mother, Yia Yia and sister.

A native of Augusta, but a long time resident of Grovetown, Mrs. Brown was a beautician by trade. She was known for her love of family and friends, her generous spirit, and her love of holidays (especially Christmas). Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Zylphia and George Dalberakis, and a grand-daughter, Autumn Grace Brown.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bobby” Brown, two sons; George (Stephanie) Brown and Owen (Nikita) Brown, one brother; Aristides “Red” (Beverly) Dalber, two sisters; Joyce (Glenn) Boggess, Maria (Sam) Nicholson, six grandchildren; Grace Ernce, Blake Futo, Clayton Futo, Dakota Brown, Daisy Futo, and Aubrey Brown: Plus several nieces, nephews and friends including Wendy Dalber, Neal Button, Elizabeth and Georgia Ann Redd. Mrs. Brown was a member of Fort Creek Baptist Church. She loved her church family very much, especially her Sunday School Class.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support over the past several months. Love is the tie that binds us all together. The family would also like to thank all the doctors and nurses at AU Cancer Center and Heartland Hospice for their never ending support and attention, especially Dr. Nayak.

Visitation will be Monday July 23, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Fort Creek Baptist Church 1497 Fort Creek Road, Dearing, GA 30808, with the service to follow at 1:00 pm with the Reverends Tim Williams, Jim Martin and Danny McClure officiating. Pallbearers will be: Michael Nicholson, Jonathan Nicholson, James Dalber, Will Dozier, Boyd Reeves, Danny McClure, Michael Hare, Kenneth Huff, David Huff and Michael Brown. If so desired, memorial may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation 415 Crossways Park Dr. Suite D Woodbury, NY 11797 or Fort Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
