Obituary for Ethel Lucille Strang Ethel Louwsma Strang, 87, beloved wife of the late Retired Lt. Col. Paul H. Strang, entered into rest on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Harlem United Methodist Church with the Reverend David Cooper and the Dr. Mike Shearon officiating. Burial will be private. Mrs. Strang was born in Pella, Iowa to the late William and Marie Louwsma and was a longtime resident of Harlem.

She was a retired Administrative Assistant and a member of Harlem United Methodist Church. Survivors include her two sons, Jerry Lanser (Ruby) and Paul Strang (Alison); one daughter, Kimberly Logue (Chris) and step-daughter Eva Lowry (Dick); one sister, Lee Debruin (Larry); 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Strang and a daughter, Penny Strang.
