Obituary for “Unk” Mitchell Eugene Welch Sr. Harlem, Ga. – Mitchell Eugene “Unk” Welch, Sr., 56, husband of Tammy Amerson Welch, went to home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 27, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Dearing Full Gospel Church with the Revs.

Frankie Richardson and Polly Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Family Cemetery. Mitchell was the son of the late Glenn and Betty Jo Welch.

He loved farming and riding his mules. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Welch; two sons, Mitchell Eugene Welch, Jr. and Jimmy Langham; one daughter, Jessica Junkins; his brother, Derrell Welch (Cheryl); his sister, Tracy Welch; grandchildren, Cammie and Chase Langham and three grandsons.

; His aunt, Margie Crook; Nephew, Jason Welch (Stephanie); Nieces and nephews, Jeff Welch (Toni) , Jennifer Matherly (Ross), Justin Welch (Kristin), Kasse Bumgardener and Graye Bumbardner; great-nieces and nephews, Ellie Jane Welch, Jackson Welch, Jordan Welch, Jeffrey Welch, Cameron Welch, Elijah West, Madison West and Samuel West. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Vivian Lynn Welch. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Welch, Jr., Jimmy Langham, Brett Davis, Jeff Welch, Jason Welch and Justin Welch; Honorary Pallbearers will be Samuel West, Eli West and Graye Bumgardner.
