Obituary of Arlene Woodman Arlene H. Woodman WINTERPORT – Arlene E. (Hathaway) Woodman, 89, wife of the late Clifford Eugene Woodman Sr., died May 6, 2018. She was born Sept. 19, 1928 in Winterport, the daughter of George and Mary (Ellingwood) Hathaway.

Arlene and Cliff owned Cliff’s Grocery in Frankfort for 21 years. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Arlene is survived by her children, Betty Spearing and husband, Richard, of Winterport, Jayne Burchard and husband, John Jr., of Coventry, Conn.

, Dawn Leach and husband, Jeff, of Winterport, and Clifford Woodman Jr. of Winterport; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Arlene Hathaway. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Clifford in 2011 and by her brother, George E. Hathaway. A graveside service will be held 4 PM Friday at Ellingwood’s Corner Cemetery, Winterport with Pastor Steve Nute, presiding.
