94, of Providence, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield. He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia (Sprague) Uva. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Paride and Elisa (Coletta) Uva.

Armando worked as a foreman for the City of Providence Highway Department for many years before his retirement. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II. Armando is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was the cherished brother of the late Americo, Carmino, Nicholas, Salvatore, Alfredo, and Marie Uva, Sue Criscuolo, Claire Scoppoletti, and Rose Falco. His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. , Cranston.

Burial with Military Honors will take place in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
