Obituary for ARTHUR J. FERRARA Arthur J. Ferrara, 72, of Mattydale, passed away Friday at Upstate University Hospital. He was born in Syracuse to the late John and Gabriella (Bonacci) Ferrara in 1945. Arthur served with the Navy for 4 years and 20 years with the US Army.

Later in life, he worked as a late night chef at Mama Nancy’s and Gee Gee’s restaurants. He was predeceased by his sister, Diane M. Ferrara of Mattydale and 2 brothers, Francis “Sonny” and James “Jimmy” Ferrara, both of Syracuse. He is survived by wife, the former Terry Walrath, 2 sons; Aaron Elvis Ferrara, of Mattydale and Arthur J. “Gomer” Ferrara, Jr., of Syracuse, daughter; Brianna L. Ferrara, of Mattydale, step-daughter; Shani M. Stagnitta, of Liverpool, and brother; Paul A. Ferrara, of Mattydale.
