Obituary for NORMA J. GROSSI Norma J. (Tanner) Grossi, 83, of Fairmount, passed away Thursday at Loretto. She was born in Syracuse to the late Howard and Mildred (Lamphear) Tanner in 1935. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Norma spent her time with her family, especially enjoying her grandbabies.

Her favorite pastimes were gardening, bird watching, cross words, puzzles and watching some of her favorite Home Improvement and Crime television shows. She was a longtime communicant of Holy Family Church. Norma was predeceased by her grandson, Daniel Joseph Wright, 2 brothers and her sister.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph, her children; Richard (Kathy Delpha) Roney, Maria Ackerman, Joellen Lambert and Jill Grossi, 7 granddaughters; Melissa Roney, Jennifer (Adam) Barnello, Caitlyn and Natalie Ackerman, Keri and Mia Lambert and Simone Wright, brother; Harold (Janice) Tanner, brother-in-law; Ramon Grossi, sisters-in-law; Theresa Deemer and Marie Beran and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 9:15 am Tuesday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am at Holy Family Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
