Obituary of Frances Mahler Frances L. Mahler, 98, of Manlius, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Jewish Home of CNY. She was born November 17, 1919 in St. Joseph, Missouri and moved to Syracuse as a young girl. She attended Syracuse University and was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.

She was also a longtime member of Christ Church in Manlius. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Donald K. Mahler; and her sister, Dorothy Shipton. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Stephen L. Mahler of Oneida; her daughter, Cynthia M. Seibel of Fayetteville; her sister, Joann Bock of Manlius; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse. Contributions in her name may be made to Christ Church in Manlius Arrangements are with Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel.
