Obituary for RITA (POISSANT) MILESI Rita (Poissant) Milesi, 86, of Camillus, passed away Sunday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse to the late Henry and Emma (Thibeault) Poissant in 1931. Rita was a member of Fair Haven Yacht Club, the Fairmount Fire Department Auxiliary and Push Ball Team and was a communicant of Holy Family Church.

She was predeceased by her brother, Rameo Poissant. Rita is survived by her husband of 68 years, Leo, her daughter; Therese (Charles) Bishop, of Warners, her son; Paul Milesi, of Washington DC, 3 grandchildren; Kimberlee Vargas, Andrew Borchik and Jeffrey Borchik, 7 great grandchildren; Raymond, Kyra, Trinity, Kaelyn, Jack, Emery and Brock, sister; Lucille (Stanley “Jake”) Jankiewicz, brother; Robert Poissant and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 9:15 am Thursday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am at Holy Family Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

The Rite of Committal and entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
