Obituary for ISIDORO P. LAMANNA Isidoro P. Lamanna, 86, of Camillus, passed away Sunday at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Carpanzano, Cosenza, Italy in 1932 to the late Giuseppe and Giulia (Bruto) Lamanna. He, along with his wife and son, immigrated to Solvay in 1966.

He was a lifelong barber, owning and operating European Barber Shop in Solvay and worked at several other barber shops in the Solvay and Camillus area. He also worked at New Process Gear before retiring. He enjoyed to ‘fiddle’ around the house and was an avid gardener.

He was predeceased by his sister Carmella Fabiano. Isidoro is survived by his wife of 59 years, the former Dora Marotta, daughter; Giulia (Michael) O’Brien, of Camillus, 2 sons; Joseph (Susan) Lamanna, of Chittenango and Williamson and Roberto (Carrie) Lamanna, of Camillus, 6 granddaughters; Latrisha Szoke, Brianna Martinez, Gina O’Brien, Maison Lamanna, Mia Lamanna and Grace Lamanna, 3 great-grandchildren; Cameron Martinez, Hazel and Lucy Szoke, sister; Mary Mitchell, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 8:30 am Friday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am at St. Joseph’s Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Thursday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St, Liverpool, NY 13088.
