Obituary of Marie Buckley Grace Marie Buckley, 78, of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on October 20, 2018. Marie was born on October 26, 1939 in Norwich, NY and graduated from Cazenovia Highschool in 1957. She worked at Kemper Insurance and Town and Country Hospital for Pets.

Marie was a former member of Onondaga County Health Department’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, the Yankees and Orange Basketball. Marie was a loving, caring person and will be missed dearly.

She is predeceased by her parents, Nellie and Harold Wilcox, and her brother, Paul. Marie is survived by her husband, Donald Buckley; son, William (Rae Graham); daughter, Stephanie Buckley; grandchildren, Betty and Josie Buckley; siblings, Harold, Darwin, Clifford, Stephen, Rodney, Richard, and Mary Franz, many loving nieces and nephews and beloved dog, Noelle. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 417 S. Orchard Rd on Thursday, October 25, 2018.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7pm on Wednesday, October 24th at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Helping Hounds; 6606 Kinne Rd, Syracuse, NY 13214 or a charity of your choice.
