Obituary for ENITO L. AURELI Enito L. Aureli, 99, of Fairmount, passed away Saturday November 10th at home. He was born in Solvay to the late Florindo and Clarice (Sciarra) Aureli in 1919. He was a US Army Veteran serving during World War II and was a recipient of both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

He returned to work at General Motors where he retired in 1982 following 41 years of service. His passions were golf, bowling, billiards and reading. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Lucy (Anthony) in 2007and his siblings, Roland, Gene, Angelo, Joe, Lola and Ida.

He is survived by 3 daughters; Anita Aureli, of VA, MaryLou (Chuck Combs) Aureli, of Syracuse, Christine Aureli, of CA, son; Gene (Teresa) Aureli, of DeWitt, and 2 grandchildren; Kaitlin and Claire Corsi. Calling hours and funeral services were private. Burial with military honors was in Onondaga County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
