Obituary of John Moltion John F. Moltion, 81, of Jamesville, passed away peacefully at his home, with his wife by his side on Monday, November 26, 2018. Born April 14, 1937 in Syracuse, he was the son of the late William and Eleanor Raymo Moltion. For many years John was employed with the State of New York and Haynor-Hoyt Construction.

John was a member of the CNY National Railway Historic Society and was an avid train enthusiast and Yankee fan. He was a dedicated and hardworking man his entire life. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara White Moltion; two children, John M. (Kim) Moltion of LaFayette and Sherrie L. (Jamie) Plouff of Jamesville; nine grandchildren, Chris, Nick, Stephanie, Kate, Sarah, Emily, Joseph, Mary and Hannah; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, James and David Moltion, both of LaFayette; several nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Beba.

He was predeceased by his brother, William R. Moltion. Per his request there will be no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Jamesville, Manlius or LaFayette Fire Departments.
