Obituary for GWYNNE “COOKIE” (MOSHER) MAY Gwynne “Cookie” (Mosher) May, 74, of Fairmount, passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse to the late Horace and Gwyneth (Waters) Mosher in 1943. She was a graduate of West Genesee High School.

Gwynne was employed by SUNY ESF for over 30 years before retiring as the Computing Center manager. She loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, crocheting for family and friends, she was an avid SU sports fan and enjoyed her trips to the casino. She is survived by her 2 sons; Robert “Bob” (Chris) May, Jr., of Warners and Donald (Cynthia Allen) May, of Solvay, her 5 grandchildren; Jamie Lopez, Caitlin Cole, Julia May, Brad May and Tyler May, 2 brothers; Donald (Edna) Mosher, of Camillus and Charles (Diane) Mosher, of Cape Vincent, sister; Lois Sharie Okon, of AL, sister-in-law; Airea Mosher, of Camillus a special nephew and niece; Rick and Kelly Mosher and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 9:00 am Tuesday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Belle Isle Cemetery, Camillus. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
