Obituary for MARY (FAILONI) PALUMBO Mary (Failoni) Palumbo, 84, of Solvay, passed away Monday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Solvay to the late Peter and Ottavia (Salvaterra) Failoni in 1934 and was a graduate of Solvay High School. She worked for New York Telephone Co. and later for Pass and Seymour Co. as a secretary for many years before retiring in 1994.

Mary was a lifelong communicant of St. Cecilia Church. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 2000 and a grandson, Mark in 2014. She is survived by her 3 daughters; Sherry Kelly, of Solvay, Cindy (Lou) Arduini, of Lakeland and Roxann (Phil) Leach, of Solvay, son; Nicholas (Lyndsey) Palumbo, of SC, 6 grandchildren; Shawn Kelly, Daniel (Erin) deBerjeois, Philip Leach, Michael (Ashley) Palumbo, Mary and Deven Harper, 7 great-grandchildren; Gracie, Mason, Lyla and Oliver deBerjeois, Mason and Clayton Palumbo and Emma Bliss, sister; Lena DeSantis, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 8:45 am Friday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am at St. Cecilia Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Thursday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
