Obituary for LOUISE INGA SALVATERRA Louise Inga (Beil) Salvaterra, 92, of Solvay, passed away Friday August 17, 2018. She was born in Patterson, NJ to the late William and Hannah (Sundquist) Beil in 1925. She was a graduate of Thomas R. Proctor High School in Utica, attended Syracuse University and graduated from Syracuse General Hospital’s School of Nursing as an RN in 1947.

She practiced nursing and industrial nursing in many institutions over 38 years, retiring from Crouse Hospital in 1985. Inga was a longtime communicant of St. Cecilia Church and a member of its Funeral Guild and Choir. She was also a member of the Solvay Tyrol Club Auxiliary, Solvay Senior Citizens and Community General Nursing Alumnus.

She was predeceased by her husband Dario in 2007 and brother, William in 2011. She is survived by her 2 sisters-in-law; Irene Salvaterra and Elsa Barba, nieces and nephews; Marilynn (Steve) Schroeder, Susan (John) DeWolf, Nancy Beil, Kristen (Ben Wood) Schroeder, Heather Schroeder, Jennifer (Leo) Farber, Rebecca (Mike) MacGregor, John DeWolf IV, Melissa (Sam) Kaufmann, Thomas (Doreen) Barba, Cindi (Dennis Coon) Barba, Brandon (Colleen) Barba and Kristie (Bart) Kitchner, and many great-grandnieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd.

Private burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. There are no calling hours. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, has care of arrangements.
