He was born on June 13, 1932 to Joseph Irenus Bassett and Edith Opal Life Bassett in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Saratoga Springs 5th Ward Chapel, 49 East Centennial Blvd.

A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6-8 at Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM prior to the service. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
