Robert Stafford Gardner March 13, 1946 – May 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Robert Stafford Gardner Born March 13, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan Died May 17, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah Robert was a kind, loving and generous person. He was a true friend to everyone, and never met a stranger. He lived up to his enormous capacities of loving people, and knowing God.

He especially loved his sister, brothers, cousins and many friends. He enjoyed watching sports especially BYU and Michigan teams. He grew up in Michigan, graduated from Clarenceville High School in 1966.

He was drafted into the United States Army in October 1967 and was blessed to receive VA benefits throughout his life. He married the love of his life, LouAnn Teachout, on November 5, 1984 in the Washington D.C. Temple. They lived in Detroit and he worked for K-Mart.

In 1994 he was transferred to Bountiful, Utah with his job. They lived in Bountiful for 20 years where he also worked selling Fuller Brush products. After LouAnn’s death in 2014, he moved into the Osmond Assisted Living Center in Lindon, Utah.

He enjoyed living there and loved the great staff and guests. He loved doing Family History and attending the Temple. He would like to thank all those who took care of him and loved him.

Preceded in death by his wife, LouAnn Teachout, his parents, Grant and Lois Gray Gardner and his sister, June. He is survived by his sister Janet and brothers Richard, David (Jane) and Douglas (Michelle). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:00am in the Lindon West Stake Center on 1600 North Orem, Utah.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 7-8:00pm at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah. There will also be a viewing held from 10:00-10:45am prior to the service. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
