Arthur Ray Sattler, 63, of Burlington, died at 10:56 AM Monday, November 12, 2018, at his home in Burlington. Born September 26, 1955, in Burlington, he was the son of Arthur Ray and Violet Louemma Grist Sattler. Arthur worked at Southeast Iowa Community Action for 30 years where he helped many people.

He was a high school graduate. Arthur was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and loved his children.

Survivors include two sons, Leland (Starr) Sattler of Carman, IL, and Joshua Wade Sattler of Burlington; two step-daughters, Veronica (Duane) Patterson of Chino Valley, AZ, and Heidi Yaley of Burlington; five grandchildren; two brothers, Randy Sattler of Bluffdale, IL, and Greg Satller of Burlington; one sister, Linda (Michael) Kemp of Galesburg, IL; and his dog, Milo. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one son Arthur Ray Sattler III and two sisters Penny and Pamela. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.

There will be no visitation or services. .
