Mary Krenmeyer, 83, of Carthage, died at 3:46 PM Friday, December 28, 2018, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born January 19, 1935, in Quincy, IL, she was the daughter of Louis and Virginia Campbell Buster. Mary worked as a clerk at Jacks and later at a bridal and flower shop.

She was a graduate of Nauvoo High School in Nauvoo, IL. She was a member of the Keokuk Yacht Club, American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed doing crafts. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Neff of Keokuk, and Jean Gilpin of Nauvoo; one son, Jeffrey Tausch; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one step-great-grandchild; one sister, Pat Heap of Montgomery, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, three sisters, and one son. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. There will be no visitation or services.
