Howard Stimpson Howard Stimpson, 70, of Burlington, died at 7:26 pm Thursday, December 27, 2018, at the Danville Care Center in Danville. Born October 27, 1948, in Burlington, IA, he was the son of Earnest and Betty Gard Stimpson. He was of Catholic faith and worked in advertising for several years.

Survivors include his sister, Sharon (Bob) Rady of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.

Per the families wishes, there will be a burial held at a later date at Carman Cemetery in Carman Il.
