Aransas Pass – Aubrey R. Talley, 72, passed away January 1, 2019 at his home in Aransas Pass. He was born January 8, 1946 in Austin, Texas to Walter Ruben and Evelyn Emma Talley. Aubrey was a longtime master Automotive Mechanic having worked for Bay Auto (now Aransas Autoplex in Aransas Pass) and Anders Automotive in Rockport for many years.

He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Aubrey was a member of the VFW Post in Ingleside. Preceding in death are his parents: Elder and J.B. Talley; and a step-daughter: Linda Sue Buentello.

He is survived by his loving wife: Mille Lue Talley; a son: Andy Tallley; daughter: Tess Talley; stepsons: William and Chris King and Bevy Lee Wilson; former daughter-in-law: Eileen Wilson; former son-in-law: Manuel Buentello; several grandchildren: Amy Lue Buentello Lyday and husband, Nick; Jessica Lynn Buentello Howell and husband Marcus; Bevi Leigh Wilson Bowen and husband Ronnie; B.J. Wilson; and great-grandchildren: Hayden Earl Lyday and Marcus Derek Howell, Jr. Visitation will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. The family will receive guests from 9:00 AM to 12 noon. A Graveside Service will be held the same day, 2:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
