Shirk – Audrey L., 89, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2018 at Rosewood Personal Care Home. Born on August 8, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of Clyde and Dora (Anders) Rhoades. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack William; brother, Clyde Jr., sister, Ella Rice.

She is survived by her loving children, Gail (Sheldon) Yerty, Johnstown, Donna (Roger) Bracken, Jackson Township, and Jack (Kellee) Shirk, Richland; grandchildren, Jack Thornton, Duane (Virginia) Yerty, Troy Bracken (Kelly Layton), Kristin (Gary) Bigam, Chelsee (Ryan) Hooper, Trevor (Lauren) Shirk, Jack Shirk III; great grandchildren, Derek Yerty, Cory (Shasta) Thornton, Evelyn, Eliza, and Emilee Hooper, Aubrey Burkett-Bigam, and great-great grandson, Jacob Thornton; brothers, Harold (Victorine) Rhoades, Alabama, and Donald (Vicki) Rhoads, Penn Run, PA. and many nieces and nephews. Audrey attended Rummel Church of the Brethren, Windber.

She retired from Ebensburg Center after 22 years of service as a Nurse’s Aide. Audrey enjoyed playing BINGO, camping, fishing, boating and horses. She loved her family, including her extended family, especially spending Sundays with Todd, Shelly, and Matt Singer.

At Audrey’s request, there will be no public viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 on Tuesday, October 30, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Pastor Ruby Mader officiating. Private burial will be at Richland Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions be directed to either, Rummel Church of the Brethren, 3432 Graham Ave, Windber, PA 15963 or to Conemaugh Regional Hospice, 1086 Franklin St, Johnstown, PA 15905 in memory of Audrey. Online condolences may be posted to www. wharrisfuneralhome.com.
