Jeffrey L Fuge , October 08, 1950 — October 25, 2018

FUGE – Jeffrey L., of Johnstown, passed away on October 25, 2018 at his daughters home surrounded by his loving family. Born October 8, 1950, Jeff was the son of the late Charles Jr. and Shirley (Paul) Fuge. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary; and his loving wife, Bonnie (Simasek).

He will be deeply missed by his daughter Shauna Saylor (Mark) and son, Garrett J. Fuge both residing in Florence, Alabama and their mother, Linda Washko (John) of Westmont. Also survived by his five grandchildren, Sophia, Benjamin and Natalee Saylor and Emma and Olivia Fuge whom he greatly adored, Brothers, Robert, Myrtle Beach, SC, Dennis (Carol Vrabel) and James Fuge of Ferndale and Cynthia Ziemba (Scott Pelkey)of Richland, sister-in-law, Laurie Fuge, Ohio, and friend, Jean Litsky. Jeff was a graduate of Ferndale Area High School and St. Francis College.

He enjoyed serving on the 1968 Class Reunion Committee. Jeff worked at Crown American, Penn Machine and retired from Rex Heat Treat in 2012. He loved spending his time with his beautiful wife, Bonnie.

They both found great joy in each other, taking dance lessons at Sherry Lynn’s, vacationing and spending time with family and friends. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his children and grandkids. He enjoyed traveling with them and always talking over coffee.

“Pappy Jeff” enjoyed taking his grandkids to the Jubilee, getting some ice cream or watching them swim in the pool. Jeff was often known for being “Mr. Johnstown”. He loved Johnstown and its hotspots.

There was nothing he enjoyed more than a Santos Slice or a Coney Dog. Making people laugh was one of his special gifts. He was always known to make people smile whether putting on a magic show or telling a joke.

He continued to dance until his late diagnosis of cancer. Viewing will be on Wednesday from 12- 3 and 6-9 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church, 112 Leventry Rd.
