Bartis, Martha J., 77, of Richland Township passed away October 20, 2018 at Lee Hospital. Born September 26, 1941 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Anthony and Victoria (Wagenski) Bartis. Preceded in death by brothers, Anthony and Martin Bartis; sister in law Gertrude Bartis.

Survived by loving brother, Joseph Bartis married to Connie, Johnstown; sister in law, Patricia Bartis; nephew, Michael Bartis, Johnstown; nieces, Barbara and Mary Elizabeth Bartis, Alexandria; and Melanie (Bartis) married to Clay Westbrook, Spring TX; grand nieces, Abigail Bartis, Johnstown; and Mia Westbrook, Texas; grand nephews, Damien, Clayton and Jacob Bartis, Johnstown; and Joseph Westbrook, Texas; special remembrances for the Malisko, Pavich, Sims, Komar and Lore families. Martha was employed by the FBI for over 40 years, serving in various support and administrative capacities in Washington D.C., Charleston, WV and Pittsburgh, PA, retiring in 2000 and returned to Johnstown in 2001. Life long member of HOLY CROSS POLISH NATIONAL CATHOLIC CHURCH, where she was very active in church activities and served on various church committees.

Martha’s viewing will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 22nd, at KENNEDY’S, 219 Ohio Street Johnstown, PA 15902, 814-539-4409, where evening vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23rd, at HOLY CROSS POLISH NATIONAL CATHOLIC CHURCH, Woodland Avenue, with Very Rev. Fr. Paul.

Committal Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Martha’s memory to the Church 534 Woodland Avenue Johnstown, PA 15902. Arrangements entrusted to MOSKAL & KENNEDY COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, Johnstown.
